Privacy policy
The short version
Ahasa Board does not collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no cookies for tracking, and nothing you draw is sent to us.
What stays on your device
Your boards, pages, drawings, inserted images and settings (such as language and pen size) are stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device (IndexedDB and localStorage). They never leave the device unless you choose to export, share or save them as a file. Clearing the site's data in your browser, or uninstalling the app, deletes them.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Microphone — only if you start “Record lesson” and choose to record your voice. The recording is saved as a file on your device and is never uploaded.
- Camera — only if you turn on “Air draw”, which tracks your hand so a fingertip can draw. The video is analysed on your device by an open-source hand-tracking model (MediaPipe) that runs inside the browser; no frame is stored, recorded or sent anywhere, and the camera stops when you close the panel.
- Photos / files — only when you insert an image or open a board file. The file stays on your device.
- Storage — to keep your boards and the app itself available offline.
The website and hosting
The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process connection data (such as your IP address and browser type) for the short time needed to deliver the page and protect the service from abuse. We do not add analytics or tracking scripts and we have no advertising partners.
The Android app
The Android app is a thin wrapper that opens board.ahasa.space inside your phone's Chrome engine (a Trusted Web Activity). It contains no additional data collection. Google Play may collect installation statistics under Google's own privacy policy.
Children
Ahasa Board is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information, it collects none from children either.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Questions can be sent through the Ahasa project website, ahasa.space.
